The largest monument of the early iron age are the Royal tombs Besshatyr, located under the mountains Sholak and consisting of more than 30 large, medium and small mounds. The largest mound reached a diameter of 104 meters and a height of 18 meters. The noble leaders, kings and rulers were buried in large mounds, the medium mounds were constructed for celebrated warriors, heads of tribes and the nobility , the ordinary soldiers were buried in small mounds. Swords, daggers, shields, quivers and arrows, dishes were laid in the grave. The tomb of Tien-Shan spruce were constructed in large mounds as a log, which was brought from the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains, there was a whole network of underground tunnels , the mounds are protected with memorial fences in the form of a spiral and menhirs - the vertical blocks of stone, which often were applied to the image.
